BioLogic Bike Mount Plus for iPhone 5

Hard-shell protection for iPhone allows use of speakerphone in case


Taipei, Taiwan –The Bike Mount Plus for iPhone 5 of BioLogic, a specialist in urban 
cycling gear, is a hard-shell, weatherproof case for the iPhone 5 that can mount to a 
bike so riders can use their phone to map and track key ride data. The case features 
many new innovations, including a special design that channels sound from the 
phone through the case directly to the user.

“We listened to a lot of customer feedback about our previous cases in developing 
this design,” stated Kevin Chan, BioLogic product manager. “More robust locks, a 
sturdier mount system, and the ability to use the speakerphone while the iPhone is in 
the case are just some of the many refinements we’ve made.”

The Bike Mount Plus allows full access to major phone features, including the 
touchscreen, speakerphone, cameras, charge port, and headphones. SoundPipe™ 
channels in the silicone liner redirect audio to the front of the case so the 
speakerphone mode can be used without removing the iPhone from the case. Music 
is also directed toward the rider. A KickStand™ on the back lets the case stand 
horizontally for convenient viewing on a desk or table.

The Bike Mount Plus protects with a combination of hard-shell ABS case and internal 
silicone liner. The case meets the IPX4 standard of protection, keeping an iPhone 
well protected from rain, sweat, mud, and dirt. A heavy-duty mounting bracket 
secures the case to handlebars and locks to the case via a screw-down latch. The 
bracket rotates 360° allowing use of the phone in portrait or landscape modes.

The Bike Mount Plus has an MSRP of 55 € and is available worldwide.
