Bickerton Logo

Harry Bickerton founded the company in 1971 and for the first time developed many of the technologies that became essential design features of today's folding bikes and can be found on almost every modern folding bike: whether aluminum as frame material, the mono-tube frame with central folding joint, the offset bottom bracket, or the extra long seat post and interlocking joint bulges.

Over a period of 20 years, over 600,000 Bickerton bikes were produced in Great Britain, the USA and Australia. Many of these bikes are still in use today.
